We are very excited to announce that this year we include a new activity in our summer courses:
workshops in EXPERIMENTAL ARCHAEOLOGY!
During two afternoons, students will be explained how Prehistoric Menorcans carried out different activities which were related to their everyday life, such as weaving, making flour and making and using the slingshot, just like a talayotic people did!
During two afternoon workshops, students will use replicas of objects that have been found in prehistoric sites on the island, as well as making others with their own hands!
With this initiative we want to approach the Talayotic culture to our students, so that they can fully understand what was the life of Prehistoric inhabitants like in settlements like the one where we are digging: Sa Cudia Cremada!
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity and sign up for our August and September fieldwork sessions…and remember that you’ll only pay 899.90 Euro if you sign up by March 29th!
